The façade of an old manor house and a huge area of natural landscape at the back of the building will welcome you at your arrival in Biesenthal. The house was rebuild in the course of a project to serve as living space as well as for seminars and example of an almost climate-neutral building!
There is enough space for all tents at the property, enough nature for everyone to choose his favourite place, and a half-open shack in case of rain and for the field kitchen and music at night.
The property is adjacent to a small river on one side, an international biking and hiking track on the other and the typical pine forest at the rear. We hope to provide you with a stock of bikeys to get to the nearby lakes and explore the surrounding.
So please take a tent and sleeping bag with you and enough warm clothes (although it should be quite warm in July), as we will mostly be outdoors. The house is just for presentations and discussions.
There is a nice lake for swimming near the camping site, where there is also the possibility to take a shower.
For more information of the building take a look at www.biesenthal.org,
for more pictures of the beautiful surrounding take a look at http://www.maerkische-naturfotos.de/barnim/barnim.html
Although it's just in German you can get a good impression of the house and the nature of the region. locationlocationlocationlocation
