What:
EURENSSA is already the 2nd European Environmental Sciences Student Association meeting, which
takes place in GERMANY. About 50 students
(Bachelor and Master Programmes) from all Europe will participate. The
Meeting is based on student presentations about their research. They
will be assesed by an international joury. This year a discussion and workshop
day is included (see
programme MS Word file for details)
Who:
The Organisers of this Meeting are students of the Faculty of Geology
(UNI adress) of the University of Geology
(UG) and they are working in student social life field very actively. This
Conference is the second international project of EURENSSA organising students. You can find first meeting homepage there.
Why:
The aims of this Meeting are:
· to organise the new Scientist contact network throughout all Europe,
· to promote the desire in students to present their own research,
· to promote the improvement of student performance skills,
· to expand the student range of vision in tendencies of Science in Germany
and other countires.
· to bring science to society and to eliminate
groundless stereotypes concerning scientific issues.
What should you do:
To participate in this Meeting, you have to make a research and prepare
a presentation (PowerPoint) about it. If you are not involved in a research,
you can come up with a report on your field of interest. Presentation or
report has to be in English. The presentation mustn't be longer than 11
minutes and not shorter that 9 minutes. 5 minutes are planned for questions
from jury and audience. Fill in a
form and send it to us (eurenssa@fh-eberswalde.de).
And send it to us till the 10th of July 2007!
How:
You can choose the section you want to perform in. You are also welcome to
present a poster.
Where:
The venue of the Meeting will be held in, Germany, July 15-21,
2007. You will live in tents.
How much:
If you're from EU countries, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland the registration fee is 80 EUR .
If you need visa for entering Germany, the registration fee is 40 EUR. The fee
includes all residence expenses, field trips and meals.
